Collaborations

The Basha Science is Fun Program involves valley-wide collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU) through the ASU Science is Fun Program , students, teachers and administrators throughout the Chandler Unified School District, and beyond. Together they have developed a Science Family Learning Community, where ASU Leadership Interns serve as mentors to Basha Interns, who, in turn, serve as role models for the K-8th grade students they present to. Dr. McKelvy, who founded and directs the Basha Science is Fun Program, co-founded and directed the ASU Science is Fun Program from 1998-2007 and continues to actively collaborate with the ASU Program.
